Fresh from their recent participation to the 29th Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Economic Leaders’ Meeting in Thailand, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. and Vice President Kamala Harris of the United States of America meet once again as the latter visits Malacañan Palace on November 21, 2022.
The two leaders are expected to discuss the strengthening of security alliance and economic relationship, where the Vice President will reaffirm the United States’ defense commitments to the Philippines including the upholding of international rules and norms, and the importance of the two countries’ alliance in peace and stability in the South China Sea.
