7.6 magnitude earthquake rocks the Philippines

An earthquake of magnitude 7.6 struck offshore in the southern Philippines, the country's seismology agency said. Tsunami warnings - which were later lifted - were issued in several countries and people in nearby coastal areas were urged to move to higher ground.
