Protests against corruption in flood control projects are expected to continue throughout the weekend. The demonstrations held earlier were peaceful but the Philippine National Police (PNP) is prepared in case things escalate, similar to the anti-corruption protests in Indonesia and Nepal. 24 Oras is GMA Network’s flagship newscast, anchored by Mel Tiangco, Vicky Morales and Emil Sumangil.
