Dating Ateneo coach Tab Baldwin 'banned' habambuhay sa UAAP | TV Patrol

'Perpetually banned' o habambuhay nang bawal sumali sa UAAP si dating Ateneo Blue Eagles coach Tab Baldwin. Ito ang desisyon ng Board ng collegiate league, kasunod ng mga imbestigasyon sa pagkamatay ng mga basketbolistang sina Rene Baterbonia at Divine Adili sa team-building ng Basketball team sa Aurora. Bawal din si Baldwin na pumasok sa anumang venue ng UAAP competitions. Ayon sa UAAP, pinal na ang parusang ito at hindi na pwedeng iapela. Suspendido naman at hindi pwedeng lumahok sa lahat ng kompetisyon at aktibidad ng UAAP ang dating Ateneo team manager na si Epok Quimpo, pati ang ilang assistant coaches at therapist ng Blue Eagles. Hindi tulad ng desisyon kay Baldwin, pwede itong iapela sa UAAP Board. 'Eligible' o pwede pa ring maglaro sa season 89 ang mga miyembro naman ng Ateneo Men's Basketball team. Inatasan naman ng UAAP Board ang Ateneo na irepaso ang organizational structure at pamunuan ng koponan. Tinatanggap naman ng Ateneo de Manila University ang desisyong payagan ang Men's Basketball Team na makalaro sa Season 89. Patuloy ding inaalala ng pamantasan sina Baterbonia at Adili, at pinagdadasal ang kanilang pamilya at mga naulila.
