DPWH probing joint venture of the family of Senator Go and the Discayas | 24 Oras

he Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) is investigating the joint venture of the family of Sen. Bong Go and the Discayas. Ombudsman Jesus Crispin Remulla says the partnership is the reason why the Discayas are allegedly protecting Go. Go believes he is being linked to the issue to derail the investigation. Meanwhile, Vice President Sara Duterte believes the government will attempt to implicate her and ex-President Rodrigo Duterte in the issue. But Malacañang says the administration will not fabricate evidence to jail its critics. The Ombudsman also says the Discayas may also be protecting Senators Mark Villar and her mother former Senator Cynthia Villar. The Ombudsman is also looking into projects handled by the brother of former Senator Bong Revilla. 24 Oras is GMA Network’s flagship newscast, anchored by Mel Tiangco, Vicky Morales and Emil Sumangil.
