Vice President Sara Duterte remains the frontrunner in a hypothetical head-to-head race against Naga City Mayor Leni Robredo for the 2028 presidential election. That’s according to the latest survey by OCTA Research. The nationwide survey showed that 43 percent of adult Filipinos would vote for Duterte if the 2028 presidential election were held during the survey period. Thirty-four percent preferred Robredo. Duterte’s advantage dropped to nine percentage points. She had an 11-point lead in OCTA's last survey. Twenty-two percent said they were undecided or would choose neither candidate. One percent refused to answer. The survey was conducted from July 4 to 11 with 1,200 respondents.
