Going to Davao to Buy Car! + Visiting Local Market + Interviewing Alena

Our Russian friends Alena, Slava and their three children are starting a new chapter in the Philippines - and this time, they needed a car! 🚗🇵🇭 Together, we traveled from Samal Island to Davao to meet the seller, inspect the car and discuss all the details. Everything worked out perfectly: they liked the car, the price was right, and they bought it on the spot! 🎉 And then came the real adventure - driving their new car back to Samal. It’s a small car, but somehow all of us managed to fit inside! 😄 For island life, it may be exactly what they need. It was Slava’s first time driving in the Philippines - and possibly his first time driving abroad — so he really wanted to get home before dark. We were in a hurry, but of course, we couldn’t resist making a few stops along the way! We stopped at a local market, explored what Filipinos buy and eat, and tried fruit juice served in plastic bags - something completely normal here but totally new and surprising for our Russian friends! 😄🥭🥤 We also stopped for fresh coconuts and fruit, and with our own car, suddenly the whole island feels like an open adventure. You can stop wherever you want, discover local places and enjoy the journey without rushing. And the kids? They had an amazing time! All four boys were singing, laughing and joking together during the trip. ❤️ But there’s more to this video!
