Immigration confirms Cayetanos are abroad

Senators Alan Peter and Pia Cayetano are out of the country. This was confirmed by the Bureau of Immigration. However, the agency declined to disclose when the senators left, their destination, the purpose of their trips, or when they are expected to return. Immigration officials said they could not release such information because of obligations under the Data Privacy Act.
