Impeachment trial of VP Duterte may be extended

The impeachment trial of Vice President Sara Duterte may be extended. This was disclosed by Impeachment Court spokesman Reginald Tongol. He noted that the trial has been delayed by about two to three days. Tongol said the court is studying measures to recover the lost time. Among the options being considered is the holding of impeachment proceedings on additional days, including Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. The court is also studying the possibility of extending the daily trial hours. Tongol, however, stressed that no final decision has been made on these options.
