In the Public Square: Surveying partisanship

The first impeachment trial of a sitting vice president who happens to be the leading candidate for the presidency is taking place in a polarized country with a fragmented media landscape. How do we make sense of the factions and partisanship that now define Philippine politics? And how do these leanings impact the impeachment? One of the ways to get a good sense of politics is to study the scientific surveys. One of the latest, conducted in June, is the Philippine Public Opinion Monitor 10, by WR Numero Research.
