Marcos approves release of VP Duterte’s tax records

President Marcos has authorized the BIR to submit the tax records of Vice President Sara Duterte and her husband to the Senate Impeachment Court. BIR representatives delivered Duterte’s tax documents to the office of Senate Secretary Rey Bantug, who is the clerk of the Impeachment Court. The documents were enclosed in a red box. The delivery follows the subpoena issued by the Impeachment Court. Today is the deadline set in the subpoena for the BIR to submit the documents.
