I arrived in Davao curious and slightly cautious. What I found was a city that felt safe, welcoming and far friendlier than I expected—even if being propositioned on the street at 8:30 in the morning wasn’t quite the welcome I anticipated. 😂 In this video, I explore People’s Park, Bankerohan Fruit Market, old Davao, San Pedro Street and Jack’s Ridge, discovering a very different side of Mindanao from the one I had imagined.
