Back in June, I was asked to be a live model for Dia de Manila’s live sketching event where people sketch models in historical attires based on Manila’s history. I ofc portrayed pre-colonial Maynila where I dressed as a Dayang. Maynila’s cultural ties with Sulu, Brunei and Malacca are also reflected in the attire I wore.
