WATCH | PSC Chairman Patrick Gregorio visits UP Mindanao to advance sports development in the South. Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) Chairman Patrick Gregorio visited the UP Mindanao Aquatic Center, one of the sports facilities being completed and developed as part of the PSC’s efforts to strengthen regional sports infrastructure and provide athletes with better training venues. Construction of the Aquatic Center began in 2018. The facility is designed to feature an Olympic-size pool, a 25 x 10-meter warm-up pool, and a 20-foot-deep diving pool. Chairman Gregorio also visited the World Archery Philippines (WAP) Regionals in Mindanao, where more than 500 young archers from across the country gathered to compete. More than half of the participants came from Mindanao, including athletes from Cotabato and Sultan Kudarat. The visit highlighted both the ongoing development of sports facilities and the growing pool of young athletic talent in Mindanao.
