Senate, House leaders urge Filipinos: Build a better, stronger nation

In his message for National Heroes' Day, Senate President Sherwin Gatchalian is calling on Filipinos to honor the sacrifices of the country’s national heroes. This can be done, he said, by serving their families, communities, and nation with integrity, honesty, and compassion. Gatchalian said the sacrifices of the people who fought for the country’s freedom, sovereignty, and democracy should inspire Filipinos in building a better nation.
