Mindanao Reel Time (https://www.facebook.com/reel/966199069456628) chanced to meet Miss Joeralyn Caballero-Anderson, the owner of Samal Island's new tourist spot, Trinity Park, a unique space born from a personal dream and a deep expression of faith.
Located in Cawag, Peรฑaplata, Trinity Park is designed to evoke the atmosphere of Rome while focusing on her love for God. A central feature of the park is its cross-themed art, including a miniature version of Brazil's massive Christ the Redeemer statue.
While the park incorporates religious motifs, Miss Joeralyn emphasizes that it is not tied to a specific denomination. It is intended instead for everyone who shares a belief in the same God.
Despite operational challenges and high maintenance costs, the primary goal of Trinity Park is not profitโbut rather to share the space and have fun with the community.
To ensure power stability, the park utilizes solar power system while remaining connected to the local grid, which is now reliably provided by Davao Light and Power Company.
To mark Trinity Park's first year, the park is hosting an anniversary celebration come July 18, offering free entry from Friday through Sunday. Visitors are invited to experience the parkโs highly-rated food and unique atmosphere.
